Explore the Canaries through our tailor-made circuits, designed by Sébastien and his Canaventura team from Tenerife. Each itinerary combines two to four islands to reveal the diversity of the archipelago: climbing Mount Teide at 3,715 meters, laurel forests of La Gomera, volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote, hilltop villages of Gran Canaria. Whether you're traveling with family, as a couple or with fellow hiking friends, our circuits adapt to your pace and preferences. From an 8-day discovery circuit across two islands to a grand tour of the archipelago over 3 weeks, find the itinerary that suits you and travel with peace of mind with a local English-speaking agency.
Choose your trip in Canary Islands
How to choose your trip to the Canaries?
The choice depends first on duration and the number of islands. For a first trip of 8 to 10 days, we recommend a combination of two islands, for example Tenerife and La Gomera, or Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, to enjoy each one without rushing. On stays of 8 to 12 days, three islands become possible by including La Palma or Gran Canaria. Seasoned travelers preferring a broader tour opt for our trips of 13 to 17 days that cover four to five islands, with time for serious hiking and taking ferries rather than flights.
Different types of trips
We design three families of itineraries based on your travel style. Our cultural trips highlight Guanche heritage, the colonial architecture of UNESCO-listed La Laguna, César Manrique's works in Lanzarote and local gastronomy in the guachinches. Our adventure trips suit hikers and diving enthusiasts, with crossing of the Caldera de Taburiente, sunrise climb of Teide and whale watching off Los Gigantes. Our family trips alternate gentle activities, calm southern beaches and fun discoveries like Loro Parque or the natural pools of Garachico.
What is the best season?
The archipelago is suitable for travel year-round thanks to a subtropical climate tempered by the trade winds. April to June and September to November are in our view the ideal window, with 22 to 26°C during the day, sea at 21-23°C and moderate crowds. In winter, from December to March, the southern coasts remain mild at 20-22°C, perfect for escaping continental cold, with possible snow on Teide. Summer, warmer, attracts European families and drives up prices in July-August.
Our quality commitment
Canaventura has been based in Tenerife for several years, which gives us fine-grained knowledge of each island. Sébastien and the team personally test the accommodations, trails and service providers we include in our trips. Our journeys are guaranteed by APST and we are registered with Atout France, which secures your payment and any repatriation. You benefit from English-speaking assistance 7 days a week during your stay, with a single point of contact who knows your itinerary and can step in if anything unexpected happens.
